UK households are switching to faster broadband services. As a result, they are receiving faster and more reliable internet services. Telecoms industry regulator Ofcom has released research demonstrating the average broadband speeds have increased by 20% since the beginning of 2017.
Hammond has promised the availability of fibre-to-the-premesis fibre broadband connections to 15 million homes in the UK by 2025. In addition, he is committed to delivering a nationwide full-fibre network to UK homes by 2033.
Even though we work with all of the Tier 1 network and leased line providers, we don’t often talk about it. This is due in part to our customers’ network and ethernet fibre leased line services being both commercially sensitive and a security risk should we divulge their details.
